As Chief Experience Officer, Benedikt Schell has been responsible for customer and digital strategy and business model transformation at a global level since 2017. With his appointment, Daimler Financial Services is ensuring that it is ideally positioned to respond to changing customer requirements and market developments while continuing to expand its position as an integrated financial and mobility service provider.
With 20 years of experience in the industry, Benedikt Schell is predestined for this strategic transformation. After graduating in banking and business studies, he joined Daimler Financial Services in 1997 as a trainee. He worked his way up through Sales & Marketing and Fleet Management before joining the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Bank in 2013 with responsibility for the national companies in the UK, Spain, and France as well as Sales & Marketing for the region of Europe. In this role, he continuously improved dealer and customer satisfaction through various initiatives, drove ahead the digitization process, and was one of the co-founders of Mercedes-Benz Vans Mobility GmbH.
