Who we are

We provide customized automotive-related financing solutions to the Group's customers in CIS-countries, Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America as well as Asia/Pacific.

In 1956 we began as the "Export Office" of Daimler-Benz and actually facilitated the sale and payment of commercial vehicles and power systems as well as many engines, trucks and omnibuses.

With our financing know-how, influential political network, excellent understanding of various emerging markets and unconventional solutions we supplement DFS’ range of financial services.

Through various options of risk assumption and funding on- and off-balance sheet, we are flexible enough to be the point of contact for customers and brands with regard to financing in difficult markets. Knowledge of local markets and a reliable network enable us to execute any necessary collateralization and financing mechanism.

The division is a self-contained company: Daimler Export and Trade Finance GmbH, a 100% subsidiary of Daimler Financial Services AG. We also operate through debis Industriehandel GmbH (INDU), our 100% subsidiary.
